This week it finally worked again. My plan with the blocked time phases in the calendar went off. I was able to write almost continuously on Wednesday.

iCloud Drive includes a feature for sharing content with others since macOS Big Sur and iOS/iPadOS 14, which is very handy and great for collaborating on projects from Merlin Project. In macOS Monterey, sharing via iCloud Drive has gotten even better.

In Monterey, Apple has re-designed the iCloud Drive Finder view.
In the sidebar of any Finder window, under the iCloud menu item there is still the iCloud Drive entry.

In it, you'll find many folders of different apps and you can insert your own folders or files to access them conveniently from other private devices. Read more...

Part 3

I had already feared it at the beginning; with all the motivation to write the book quickly - the day-to-day business somehow always gets in the way.
In the last week I was on the road a lot. On behalf of Merlin Project, of course. And this week one surprise followed the next.
The result is unsatisfying, but clear: I couldn't write 20 sentences.
So I can save the current Kanban board here too; because it still looks exactly the same.
Next week it will go on... hopefully.
Merlin Project: Successor vs. Child

You plan your projects with Merlin Project? Then you already know how you add activities. Typically, you'll click onto '+' or call Insert > Activity from the menu. Some of you might copy and paste activity rows, like to use keyboard shortcuts cmd+N or import data from another application.
The insert menu however offers more items, as for example: milestone, child, successor, aunt, predecessor, assignment.
So what's the difference between a successor and a child? When to select one over the other item of the insert menu? And what happens if you don't select them when inserting new activities?
