How is email written correctly?
One of my favorite discussions ;-) When I skim our website, I find at least two versions: eMail and e-Mail. But what is correct? Internationally it is a bit difficult. I am regularly asked if and when there will be functions for the Apple Watch in Merlin Project. Since the question is natural and justified, I invite you to a short walk in my head.
Merlin Project on the Mac and iPad
Currently Merlin Project is running on the Mac, iPad and iPhone. New projects are created and edited on the Mac and iPad. With version 5.1.3 we do not only provide maintenance updates for the users of Merlin Project on Mac and iPad, as well as Merlin Server. There are also new functions included, which increase the comfort especially for large projects:
The Gantt chart now shows a double arrow symbol to jump to bars outside the visible time range.
In the structure plan and the assignment view, the line pop-up triangles now also appear on the guest page when the outline is hidden.
The synchronization panel has been redesigned to better support document sharing via Merlin Server, iCloud Drive, Dropbox and SMB.
In addition, when dragging Gantt bars, guide lines now appear in the time scale.
Update the macOS versions with the function "Check for updates...".
Here you can find the release notes fro Merlin Project and Merlin Server. Most of these updates also apply to Merlin Project Express. The new versions will be provided in the Mac App Store or at SetApp – right after its review.
We have just released the version 5.0.12. This maintenance update is important for Merlin Project.
Use "Check for updates …" to download the new macOS versions.
Merlin Project is now available on the iPad
For 15 years, Merlin Project has been at the heart of all project managers on the Mac. Now with the new version we also make your iPad a powerful project tool.
Apple's magic tablet attracts everyone. Whether you're holding it up like a piece of paper in a meeting, appreciating its light weight when travelling, or using it as an intuitive tool and letting your fingers fly over its glass: Everyone loves their iPad. So it was obvious for us to prepare our favorite tool for the next decade. Now you have your projects within reach: Move Gantt bars and Kanban cards with just one finger and effortlessly wipe through large project plans. Experience all the powerful Merlin Project features on your iPad.
Our patented MagicSync synchronizes all project data with all devices. If your tablet is already in the meeting room, but you want to make a last, quick change, this is no problem. Modify it on the Mac – by the time you're in the meeting, everything's synchronized.
But Merlin Project doesn't just run on your iPad. On iPhone, it displays all project content in portrait format as compact lists and shows a dynamic Gantt chart in landscape format.
