Why Does Merlin Project Ask Me to Subscribe Even Though I Have an App Store Subscription?

Please make sure that you are using the version from the App Store. You cannot unlock the version from our website with the App Store subscription.

Proceed as follows:

• Close Merlin Project.
• Delete the software from both the Applications folder and the Downloads folder.
• Open the Mac App Store.
• Make sure that you are logged into the App Store using the Apple ID you subscribed to Merlin Project with.
• Re-download Merlin Project from the App Store.
• Launch Merlin Project from the Applications folder.

If Merlin Project is still not unlocked, open the Merlin Project > Subscription menu and select 'Restore Purchases'.

To verify that you have a running, uncancelled subscription to Merlin Project on the AppStore, go to the account associated with your Apple ID.

Apple does not share user data with us developers and we do not activate their subscription. All this is done directly through Apple and the account associated with your Apple ID. Unfortunately, we do not have access to this and therefore cannot intervene.
