Is Merlin Project Available as a One-Time Purchase Instead of a Subscription?

No. Merlin Project and Merlin Project Express are available exclusively on subscription. We no longer offer a classic perpetual license or one-time purchase.

The subscription renews automatically at the end of the chosen period unless you cancel beforehand. In return, you benefit continuously from all improvements and enhancements, with no separate update fees.

If you temporarily don't have a project to work on, you can cancel the subscription at any time and re-subscribe later. Your data is retained even without an active subscription, and you can still open the software in "read-only" mode.
