Which Cloud Services May I Use?
On Mac, Merlin Project works with all popular file sharing platforms and cloud services. We’ve tested it with the following:
- Dropbox - Local files option
- iCloud Drive
- Box.com - Box Sync
- Google Drive - Google Backup & Sync
- Google Drive - Google Drive for desktop - recommended Mirror files syncing option
- Microsoft One Drive - Finder integration
- Synology Cloud Station
- Azure files - SMB File Share
The supported Cloud services will show as folder in the Finder. You can select them when you call File > Open or File > Save in Merlin Project on the Mac.
When used on the iPhone and iPad, Merlin Project currently supports these services:
- Dropbox - currently Dropbox Business is not supported
- iCloud Drive
The supported Cloud services can be used by the Merlin Project iOS app as Storages for your Merlin Project documents. Other cloud services can be used only when accessing third party application files or files for attachments.
