Can I also subscribe and distribute the software via Apple Business Manager?

No, currently Apple does not offer the possibility to distribute in-app purchases via the Apple Business Manager. However, licensing via an in-app purchase is the only way for us in the App Store to offer you a trial period before you sign up for a subscription.

The only way in the AppStore is therefore to subscribe to the software via a private Apple ID and then settle the costs with the company. Please note that Apple always invoices the AppStore to the address stored with the Apple ID.

Alternatively, companies can download Merlin Project for Mac from our website, subscribe to it and manage it centrally. See also: Licenses for Enterprises.

For Merlin Project for iPad and iPhone we are unfortunately bound to Apple.

Merlin Project Express is alternatively available through the Setapp subscription service.
