Merlin Project 4.1.0 Supports the Touch Bar

We have just released the version 4.1.0 and with this version we are supporting the Touch Bar of the new MacBook Pro. But of course the maintenance of
- Merlin Project,
- Merlin Server and
- Merlin Project Go
is also part of this update. Download the new macOS versions by means of the function "Check for updates …". The iOS version is still at Apple for review and after approval will automatically be available in the App Store.

A frequently asked question in support refers to a not licensed Merlin because of too many instances running at the same time.
There is a special case for you as a user of Merlin 2. For a new Mac, e. g. with macOS Sierra, you have decided to upgrade to Merlin Project.
If you nevertheless, like to use Merlin 2 on your old Mac, this is possible. But there can only concurrently be one: Merlin Project 4 or Merlin 2. The programs can only be opened one after the other and not at the same time.
Friday Again Already?

Lately, I’ve regularly found myself asking the same question by midday every Friday... I think you know well enough now how the rest goes from previous Friday articles ;-)
Essentially: What did I have on this week?
The TouchBar comes to Merlin Project
I already announced it soon after the new MacBook Pro was presented: Merlin Project will of course support the TouchBar. After this, I was bombarded with emails, some of which contained very detailed ideas and requests. Many thanks for these!

It all began on November 9, 2004 with a tool for internal project planning. New features in project management software, which competitors often liked to incorporate in their own products, were introduced right from the first version. Just ask other vendors how they came up with the idea of linking a mind map with project management software ;-)
We developed Merlin 1 for Mac OS X Panther (10.3), and constantly enhanced our wizard across many subsequent operating system versions. November 28, 2006 saw the release of Merlin 2 – arguably the longest-lasting project management application of all time. This version provided reliable service to project managers for over 10 years – with development never stopping throughout this time.
