Merlin Project Celebrates 13th Anniversary

Today is a special day. Since November 9th 2004, Apple users can manage their projects with Merlin. That's right, we are celebrating the 13th anniversary of our Merlin launch. A Brief History of PM Tools on Apple Mac

I found my professional passion in project management: I love approaching new challenges, building teams and taking projects from the initial idea to go-live. Inevitably I permanently look for tools and methods to make work easier for me and my teams. As both historically and contemporary the nicest releases in PM software were made for Mac, I wrote a brief history about it which also includes some milestones of Apple.

Merlin Project 4.3.1 Is Released

We have just released the version 4.3.1. This maintenance update is important for both Merlin Project and Merlin Server.

Use "Check for updates …" to download the new macOS versions.

The iOS version 4.3.1 is also available in the App Store.

We have also updated Merlin Project Express. The new versions will be provided in the Mac App Store or at SetApp.

Update: Merlin Project 4.3 Supports High Sierra and Asian Localization

We have released a brand new version of Merlin Project, Merlin Project Express and Merlin Project Go. With version 4.3, there are two main changes we have made to improve the user experience.

How can I define the critical path in Merlin Project?

Merlin Project automatically recognizes whether or not activities are on critical path. On forwards planned projects, they are the activities which may change the end of the project.
