Merlin Project: Multiple Selection Editing
You use Merlin Project to schedule your projects and keep track of work, resources and cost? Then you already know how to enter new activities, define them by 'Given Work' or 'Given Duration' as required and/or assign resources.
How to proceed when you need to edit multiple activities at once?
You need to select them first.
To define the same amount of 'Given Work' for more than one activity at once:
- Select the activity rows
- open the 'Plan' inspector
- enter the desired amount in the 'work' field
- and press any of the following keys ('ENTER', 'RETURN', 'TAB') to confirm the change.
To assign the same resource to more than one activity at once:
- Select the activity rows
- open the 'Resources' pop-over
- check the checkbox of the desired resource.
Note: To select multiple rows that are listed together, click the first row, then press the Shift key and click the last row. To select any given rows, press and hold the Command key, then click the rows.
