Roadmap
New years bring new resolutions and new plans. When planing projects you combine content with persons and goals. A roadmap matching short-term and long-term goals with specific solutions to help meet those goals can be easily developed using Merlin Project.
Here are the steps, showing how you can develop a roadmap for your projects in Merlin Project.
Start a new project.
Enter first the roadmap goals and tasks as activities. Define the planned duration required for the goals to be achieved. Link them afterwards accordingly to each other. This defines the order in which they should take place.
Using styles you can color your roadmap as desired.
By a secondary click on an activity, you call the context menu. Select there 'Style' and 'Bars'.
Using Tags in your conditions, you can define custom colors for your individual bars. Use the Styles inspector to select a higher value for the min bar height, to get higher bars. You'll find a detailed guide to the styles and tags in the related quick guide on our website.
Now you see the roadmap in its full splendor.
To bring the Gantt chart to paper, just use the print options of Merlin Project.
