Of course, we have updated the new version 7 on the Mac directly to the current version for macOS 11 Big Sur. We have redesigned the toolbar according to Apple's specifications, optimized every single symbol for Big Sur.
Together with the new spacing of menu items, the newly rounded windows and many features in the operating system, Merlin Project offers you a new experience - and still the same magic in your projects.
Of course the same has been done in the version for the iPad. The changes for iPadOS 14 were also implemented in Merlin Project 7:
- Handwriting recognition in text fields
- The interface was changed to standard symbols
- The document browser is much tidier and thus much clearer
In addition, with the annotations, which are of course also available on the iPad, another previously missing feature has come from the Mac to the iPad: Conflicts and warnings are now displayed in a separate panel.

An iPhone App and a Blog Entry
Time flies. Since the first version of telephone memo a felt eternity has passed. Back then in 2003 Frank Blome had written the app for the Mac.
Eventually, dust grew over the matter. After a period of archaeological proportions, at least in the digital world, Frank Blome revived the idea in early 2020.
Phone Memos, the new app by ProjectWizards and is now available for iOS.
An old friend, Stefan Kremer, posted a nice review in his blog about the app. The talented in learning languages among you, who can read and understand German, can dive into the history of the app there.

Merlin Project 6.4.5 Is Released
We have just released the version 6.4.5. This free update is important for Merlin Project.
- Update your Mac versions in Merlin Project for free with "Check for updates…".
- The version for the iPad and iPhone will be released after review in the App Store automatically.
We have also updated Merlin Project Express. The new versions will be provided in the Mac App Store or at SetApp – right after its review.
