TimeLine 3D creates timelines that can contain texts, graphics, hyperlinks and annotations. The software helps with many tools to place the content. Historical and chronological events can be presented in a graphically appealing way.

You'll be happy to know that you can link these Evernote notes to your projects, activities, resources and attachments in Merlin Project.

Get things done with Things

Do you use task planning software, or to-do apps, to organize your thoughts and tasks - from everyday errands to life's biggest goals? Apps like Things and Omnifocus also help project managers micromanage to plan their day and work efficiently toward goals. Of course, the tasks that need to be done in the project should also be included.

It is therefore obvious to send activities from the project plans of Merlin Project as tasks to Things. But also transfer tasks from Things as activities to Merlin Project. The free AppleScript developed for this purpose enables easy data exchange between the two programs. In this way, the two programs complement each other perfectly.

Chef-Demo: Merlin Project auf dem iPad

Das erste Mal

Seit einiger Zeit mache ich sogenannte Chef-Demos zu Merlin Project. Hier zeige ich immer einen Anwendungsfall in Merlin Project auf dem Mac und gehe diesen von Anfang bis Ende durch. Der nächste Termin ist am 18. Mai um 16 Uhr. Diese Serie wird aber kontinuierlich weitergeführt, da ich mich jedes mal über ein volles (Online-) Haus freue. Vereinzelt nehmen Leute sogar mehrfach teil.

In den letzten Wochen kam vermehrt die Frage nach einer Demo für Merlin Project auf dem iPad auf. Gesagt, getan – ein Termin steht fest: Am 6. Mai um 16 Uhr findet eine erste Chef-Demo auf dem iPad statt.
