Chef-Demo: Merlin Project auf dem iPad

Das erste Mal

Seit einiger Zeit mache ich sogenannte Chef-Demos zu Merlin Project. Hier zeige ich immer einen Anwendungsfall in Merlin Project auf dem Mac und gehe diesen von Anfang bis Ende durch. Der nächste Termin ist am 18. Mai um 16 Uhr. Diese Serie wird aber kontinuierlich weitergeführt, da ich mich jedes mal über ein volles (Online-) Haus freue. Vereinzelt nehmen Leute sogar mehrfach teil.

In den letzten Wochen kam vermehrt die Frage nach einer Demo für Merlin Project auf dem iPad auf. Gesagt, getan – ein Termin steht fest: Am 6. Mai um 16 Uhr findet eine erste Chef-Demo auf dem iPad statt.

Die Demo erfolgt in deutscher Sprache via Zoom. Bitte registrieren Sie sich, damit Sie am Tag der Demo den Link für den Zoom-Raum bekommen können.

Merlin Project offers a perfect exchange with other programs. No matter where the data comes from, with Merlin Project you almost always have a way to transfer it. The same goes for exporting.

If you use GrandTotal to create quotes or invoices, you can copy the required activities of your project plan and paste them into the GrandTotal document.

Merlin Project 7.2.3 Is Released

We have just released the version 7.2.3. This free update is important for Merlin Project.

• Update your Mac versions in Merlin Project for free with "Check for updates…".
• The version for the iPad and iPhone will be released after review in the App Store automatically.

We have also updated Merlin Project Express. The new versions will be provided in the Mac App Store or at SetApp – right after its review.

Merlin Project: Adjusting the default calendar

You use Merlin Project to plan your projects? Then you already know how to set the Project Calendar in Merlin Project.

In case you don't - You'll find the Project Calendar in the Project Settings.
New documents come with following pre-defined calendars: Standard, Night Shift, 24 hours. By default the Standard calendar is selected as project calendar. So the tasks of your project will be scheduled within 8 hours distributed 8am - 12pm and 1pm - 5pm Mondays to Fridays.

How should you proceed if the members of your team are available for this project not 8 but 7 hours per day?
