Merlin Project 8.1.2 Is Released

We have just released the version 8.1.2. This free update is important for Merlin Project.

• If you work with Merlin Project from the App Store, a new version will be made available to you after checking the Mac App Store.
• If you have downloaded Merlin Project from this website, update this version for free using the menu command in the app "Check for updates ...".
• The version for the iPad and iPhone appears automatically in the App Store after verification by Apple.

We have also updated Merlin Project Express. The new versions will be provided in the Mac App Store or at SetApp – right after its review.

No Support for Putin's War

ProjectWizards is against war. We strongly condemn Putin's invasion of Ukraine and sympathize with the Ukrainian people.

Our business is project management software. Unfortunately, it may not only be used for good, but also for bad things, such as a war of aggression.

We cannot reconcile it with our conscience to be involved in it. Neither directly, nor indirectly, such as through war-financing banks. We are therefore stopping all business with Russia.

We also believe that the sanctions imposed by the German government and the European Union are still not enough. Therefore, we call on our friends in software development to join us.

Mission accomplished: Merlin Project on the iPad is functionally identical to the Mac version

With version 8.1, Merlin Project on the iPad reaches a very special milestone: all the features of the Mac version are now also available on the iPad. This makes switching between devices even easier. Take your iPad with you to the construction site or project meetings as a lightweight companion. Merlin Project on the iPad is now in the same league as Merlin Project on the Mac.

After less than two years of intensive development, Merlin Project on the iPad has caught up with the Mac version. Started this race in March 2019 with version 5.1, the features gradually came to the iPad. The order of development was a colorful mixture of planning and customer requests. Meanwhile, the new year is already a few days old and the last holidaymakers are now also busy working again.

Of course, I took it down a notch over the holidays and worked mainly on administrative things for the new year. I also did some work on the website for the upcoming Merlin Project 8.1 release.

From this, the attentive reader can immediately see that I haven't written quite a lot on the new manual ... actually nothing at all 🤷‍♂️.
