Managing Projects with Merlin

Course Overview

The session will leverage traditional project management best practices in order to demonstrate how to effectively use Merlin to manage projects. The class format will include a mix of lecture, demonstration, and practical exercises in order to reinforce the lessons and ensure that each participant leaves with a solid understanding of how to make the best possible use of Merlin.

Material covered in the 2-Day session will include:

  • Merlin Overview
  • Personal views and configurations
  • Setting up and working with Projects, Phases, Activities and Resources
  • Taking advantage of Merlin Elements
  • Working with Project Templates
  • Program Management with Merlin
  • Integration with other programs (including Microsoft Project and Excel)
  • Setting up Merlin for use in your network
  • Web Sharing with Merlin
  • Merlin iPhone and iPad

Requirements

Participants will be required to provide their own MacBook, MacBook Air or MacBook Pro laptop with a licensed copy of Merlin 2 for use in the sessions.

Pricing and Availability

This limited seating 2-day workshop, Managing Projects with Merlin, costs $1100 per participant. It takes place in New York City on Tuesday, August 24th and Wednesday, August 25th. Participants will receive specific details as to location and hotel recommendations upon registration.
