Sprint

A sprint is a fixed, short period of time in agile project management during which a defined work package is completed. A sprint usually lasts one to four weeks and delivers a usable result at the end.

In Scrum, the sprint is the central rhythm: the scope is set at the start, the result is reviewed at the end, and the approach is reflected upon. These recurring iterations make it possible to implement requirements step by step and to respond flexibly to changes.
