Scrum

Scrum is an important approach in agile projects. It is used for delivering software products with iterative incremental process. The name comes from rugby: a scrum is the formation in which the team fights for the ball together. In 1986, Hirotaka Takeuchi and Ikujiro Nonaka compared product development teams to this formation in the Harvard Business Review. The Scrum Team works in Sprints of one month or less. According to the 2020 Scrum Guide, the Scrum Master is accountable for the Scrum Team's effectiveness and is not a project manager.
