Hybrid Project Management

Hybrid project management combines elements of traditional and agile methods. Instead of committing to a single approach, the practices are mixed so that they fit the task at hand.

In practice this often means: the overall framework is planned in the classic way using the waterfall model with phases and milestones, while individual work packages are delivered agile in sprints. In this way the hybrid approach combines the predictability of the one world with the flexibility of the other.
