We can do more than project management

From time to time our developers program small apps to try out new techniques or to meet current challenges. This is how 3 small applications for the iPhone were created last year, which we would like to briefly introduce to you today:

• Phone Memos for passing short notes to absentees.
• Herein! for contact tracking
• Meeting Cards for more fun in video conferences

Phone Memos

ProjectWizards is organized in a decentralized manner, with each employee working from their home office or another location of their choice. Telephone notes can therefore not simply be passed on to colleagues by note. This is where the iOS app Phone Memos provides a remedy.

If we receive a call, the note can simply be noted in the iOS app and then forwarded to the respective colleague via messages, e-mail, Zoom, or another application available on the iPhone or iPad using the button.

Herein!

Last year, when contact tracking became necessary in the catering industry, at the hairdresser's and other businesses, we were looking for a digital, privacy-compliant alternative to the slips of paper and lists we were using. That's how the app Herein! was born for iOS and - for the first time for us - also for Android devices.

Enter your contact information and, if desired, that of your companions in the app. The host, can then record your visit by scanning the QR code. The data is stored only on your own smartphone and decentrally on the host's device. There is no transfer to a central server or the cloud. So your data is safe!

For guests the app is free of charge, hosts pay once for the possibility of scanning and saving the data on their own device.

Meeting Cards

Voting during large videoconferences can sometimes get a bit confusing. This is where the app Meeting Cards comes to the rescue. Select a suitable card and hold your iPhone up to the camera. This way, your opinion can be quickly recognized by all conference participants. Also emotions can be easily shared this way.

But also a little game adds some diversion to the daily routine. Why not play a virtual game of rock paper scissors with your counterpart? This will lighten the mood and make work that much easier.
