MS Project: Transfer your project data

You want to transfer the scheduling created in MS Project and have the file as MS Project .MPP, Project .XML or MS Project .MPX? Just open it in Merlin Project.

Merlin Project is not a viewer for MS Project files. Your imported schedule will show in a standard view with default columns set and Gantt style.

Should there be any custom fields in your original MS Project file, you'll find them in the Inspector Activity: User-defined | Fields

Due to the differing concepts of the two programmes, one or more messages may appear in Merlin Project after importing an MS Project file. For a full list check the FAQ: data conversion notes.

Feel free to switch to another view, enable columns not currently visible in the outline, edit your scheduling or style the data as needed.
