The protection of your personal data is our highest priority at ProjectWizards. This principle applies to our Internet offer, our software and our services. For this reason, we would like to take this opportunity to inform you briefly about how we implement the data protection regulations in our Internet offerings in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please note that our data protection explanation and procedures do not apply to web pages of other vendors or destination sites to whom our web pages may refer to by link.

  1. Collecting of general information

    By visiting our website, we record information of a general nature automatically. This information (server log files) contains the type of browser and operating system you use as well as your ISP’s domain name and other such information. This information does not allow you to be identified personally. This information is required technically to provide you with the requested website content in the correct manner and is mandatory when using the Web. Anonymous information of this type is analyzed by us statistically to optimize our web presence and the underlying technology.

    To conclude your subscription via our website, we collect various data and information necessary for the smooth running of the subscription. In detail, we store the following information in our license system:

    • Your e-mail address, zip code and country, as well as the tax rate.
    • the number of subscribed seats and the device name of the Mac on which the license was activated.
    • If you have assigned a user name and / or an e-mail for multiple seats, this is also stored in our system.
    • The password you have set, is only available to us in encrypted form and cannot be read by us.
    • the date of start and expiry and last use, as well as the progress of your subscription (payments, extensions, cancellations, refunds)
    • a link to the invoice you have received from our billing partner Paddle, including any invoice data you entered there.

    When you purchased the software through Apple's App Store, we do not receive any personal information from you. Apple does not share any licensee information or Apple ID, nor do we have access to user accounts on the App Store.

  2. Your right to be informed, rectification, restrict processing, erasure, and object

    You have the right to be informed at any time about the personal data we store on you. You also have the right to rectification, restrict processing, and erasure of your personal data apart from when the law stipulates that it must be retained for business purposes.     A valid email address is required for registration. We use the “double opt-in” process to verify whether the actual email address owner registered for the newsletter. For this purpose, we log the newsletter registration, the sending of a confirmation email, and the receipt of the required response. Addition data is not collected. This data is used exclusively for the purpose of sending the newsletter and is not disclosed to third parties.

    You may withdraw your consent to your personal data being stored and used for the purpose of sending the newsletter at any time. You will find a corresponding link in each newsletter. Furthermore, you can also unsubscribe directly on this website or notify us of this request using the contact option at the end of this Data Protection Policy.

    If you contact us by email or using contact form, the information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and for possible follow-up questions.

  6. Use of Google Analytics

    This website uses Google Analytics, a Web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on your computer and which enable us to analyze your use of our website. The data generated by cookies about your use of our website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, as our website uses IP anonymization Google will shorten your IP address within a member state of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area prior to transmission. The entire IP address is transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved there only in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address provided by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be combined with other Google data.

    You can prevent cookies being stored on your computer by configuring your browser accordingly; however, please be aware that doing so may result in you not being able to use all the functions of our website to their fullest extent.   7. Google AdWords

    Our website uses Google AdWords conversion tracking. If you reached our website via an advertisement served by Google, Google Adwords will place a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is placed when a user clicks on a Google-served ad. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages on our website and the cookie has not expired, we and Google may recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Therefore, cookies cannot be tracked through AdWords advertisers’ websites. The information gathered using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords advertisers who have opted for conversion tracking. Advertisers are told the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users.

    If you do not want to participate in the tracking process, you can reject to the placement of a cookie such as by configuring your browser so that it does not generally permit the automatic placement of cookies or by setting it to block cookies from the domain "googleleadservices.com".

    Please be aware that you must not delete opt-out cookies if you do not want analytical data to be logged. If you have deleted all the cookies from your browser, you will need to place the relevant opt-out cookie again.

  8. Embedded YouTube videos

    We embed YouTube videos on some of our Web pages. The operator of the plug-in is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, a subsidiary of Google LLC. If you visit a page with the YouTube plug-in, a connection is established to YouTube servers. In doing so, YouTube will be notified about which pages you visit. If you are logged in to your YouTube account, YouTube can associate your surfing behavior with you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.

    If you play a YouTube video, the provider will use cookies that collect information about user behavior.

    If you disabled the storage of cookies for Google’s ad program, no such cookies will be stored when watching YouTube videos either. However, YouTube will also store in other cookies non personally identifiable usage information. If you want to prevent this, you need to block the storage of cookies in the browser.

  9. Changes to this Data Protection Policy

    We reserve the right to amend this Data Protection Policy from time to time to ensure that it complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the Data Protection Policy, such as when introducing new services.
