Organize podcasts

Podcasts enjoy great popularity. The free shows are available in all languages and cover any subject. Podcasts came into vogue with the iPod. The word combines "pod" from iPod and "cast" from broadcast. Today it is synonymous with free audio shows for everyone.

Creating podcasts means planning well

With GarageBand, Apple has a free and really successful app on offer. Start Garageband and you have a small audio studio at your disposal. While a professional microphone can provide better sound quality, the built-in microphone in the Mac or headset is sufficient for practicing in the beginning.

Select the "Voice" template for a podcast. Then you can go right ahead and record your podcast. Or maybe not? What about thinking it through first? There are various important aspects to consider. For example, which topics should be covered in the podcast? Are there guests? When should the podcast be released and how long should it be?

Merlin Project helps with podcasting

Merlin Project is particularly useful for planning podcasts. After all, each podcast episode is an independent project. You have several options for displaying the podcast as the flow of a single episode in a bar chart, and you can do this every week or each month a new. Display the topic points as to-dos, so no point will be forgotten during the recording.

Kanban Compakt

Use for example in a project plan the "Kanban Compact" view to create the recording process and map the respective guests and their main topics. With Merlin Project you can script your podcasts perfectly. A well-planned podcast episode wins already half the battle towards completing the production of your own podcast show.
