Merlin Project 8.1.8 Is Released
We have just released the version 8.1.8. This free update is important for Merlin Project.
- If you work with Merlin Project from the App Store, a new version will be made available to you after checking the Mac App Store.
- If you have downloaded Merlin Project from this website, update this version for free using the menu command in the app "Check for updates ...".
- The version for the iPad and iPhone appears automatically in the App Store after verification by Apple.
We have also updated Merlin Project Express. The new versions will be provided in the Mac App Store or at SetApp – right after its review.

Bienvenue sur le nouveau forum de Merlin Project !
Après avoir enterré le forum Google avec la version 2 de Merlin il y a longtemps, nous nous sommes concentrés sur Xing et LinkedIn jusqu'à présent. Maintenant que Xing a supprimé son forum sans le remplacer et que le forum de LinkedIn n'est pas vraiment vivant, nous avons décidé de lancer à nouveau notre propre forum.
Le nouveau forum offre une plateforme conviviale où les utilisateurs de Merlin Project peuvent se mettre en réseau et partager leurs connaissances. Posez des questions, faites des suggestions et apprenez d'autres utilisateurs expérimentés. Tout cela est gratuit, bien sûr !
Le nouveau forum est facile à naviguer et offre une variété de fonctionnalités, y compris une fonction de recherche qui vous permet de trouver rapidement les réponses à vos questions. En outre, vous pouvez personnaliser votre profil, suivre vos messages et vous connecter directement avec d'autres utilisateurs.

Friday Again Already?
In the last time it happens again regularly that I ask myself at the latest on Friday around noon the question; "Friday noon, where is this week already again"? Yes, I really ask myself this question in this form. And not as the universally quoted TGIF - "Thank God is Friday"; because I like to work! So my motto is IIFRA - "Is it Friday really again?" ;-)
So now I'm taking some time to review selected topics of the last week. Maybe I'll be able to slow down the pace a bit... or what's the consultant term for that: "deceleration".
PM Camp Hamburg
Finally, the preparations for the „biggest class reunion of German-speaking project managers" (I like to quote myself) are underway. After a few attempts sabotaged by Covid-19, a new orga team has now been found, which has already found a place and a date:
On May 19 and 20, 2023, the PM Camp will
take place on the premises of ISM Hamburg.
More details will follow very soon. Until then, block the date in your schedule. I will definitely be there!

Partie 6
Je n'ose pas le dire ni même l'écrire ; dans ce projet, la réalité m'a rattrapé. J'ai regardé la date du dernier billet de blog et j'ai eu un choc : 14 janvier 2022.
Je vais être honnête, depuis cette date, je n'ai pas non plus écrit grand chose sur le nouveau manuel. Bien sûr, j'ai identifié le problème il y a quelques mois et j'ai même essayé de trouver des solutions. Mais malheureusement, tout ne fonctionnait pas vraiment et je me suis rendu compte que j'avais besoin d'aide.
Je me suis donc assis avec Antoni - avec qui j'avais déjà écrit le livre Merlin 2 pour la maison d'édition Hanser Verlag - et nous avons relancé le projet. Je sais que c'est gênant. Mais parfois, il faut reconnaître un problème et le résoudre, même si c'est soi-même le problème.
