It is the stereotypical example of bad project management: the truck toll project from Toll Collect and the Federal Government that got out of control. One reason for the problems was obviously serious deficiencies with regards to the controlling. The Federal Government as the client seemed not to have paid close enough attention to the project's progress. Therefore they overlooked the warning signs and gave away the chance to reclaim the contract or cancel of the agreement in time.

The client and the project management need an efficient controlling structure in order to master the project process. The process can also be arranged into small projects with less effort.
