The company NovaMind was established in 2002 by Gideon King in Australia. The founding vision of NovaMind was to create the best Mind-mapping application for the Mac.

This goal was realized rather quickly, so NovaMind set out with the same goal for Windows. Today there is not only a version for Mac OS X, but also for Windows.

Since the beginning of development of Merlin, we have worked jointly with NovaMind to introduce a new standard for project management with Mind-Maps being a starting point that can be imported directly into Merlin so project management can take over!
