Merlin and Lion

on 27. July 2011

The latest Merlin version (2.7.9) is tested under pre-releases and previews of Lion.

As you may know, Mac OS X Lion includes many small but significant changes. Some APIs are changed, older ones are deleted and newer are added. Our developers did their best to react and created a version of Merlin which works under 10.7 – yes… “it works”. Currently we can not say anything regarding the stability, since 10.7 is brand new. If you have to work in a production environment, we recommend to wait at least for 10.7.1.

Should you have any reports to make please include your Merlin Support Profile. To create it proceed as usual; start Merlin and call Help > Create Support Profile

Please contact our support for a link to the latest developer build of Merlin or Merlin Server.

Huh, didn’t even give it a thought. I just started a new project file on Monday night and haven’t encountered any problem yet.
